Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority officials announced Dec. 11 that its 2014 budget includes a 2.9 percent reduction in aviation debt costs and a 2.9 percent reduction in operating expenses as well as other reductions.
This means that costs for airlines at Dulles International Airport, which MWAA controls, should also be reduced.
“Looking forward, I am tremendously excited about the future of transportation in this region,” said Michael Curto, chairman of MWAA’s board of directors.
