Jeanine Arnett, the chief of staff to first-term county Chairwoman Phyllis Randall, will resign from her post with Randall at the end of the month.

In a statement, Randall said Arnett will resign from her role July 24 to accept a position as the executive director of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated, an African-American sorority.

“Although she will be sorely missed in my office, and her departure is a loss for Loudoun County, I encouraged Jeanine to accept the position as I know she will be a remarkable asset to Delta,” Randall said. “This is an extraordinary opportunity for Jeanine to take her leadership skills to a national organization.”

Arnett has served as Randall’s chief aide since the chairwoman assumed office in January 2016.

Randall said she plans to name a new chief of staff soon.

Pay no attention to the hater below, he’s talking and Phyllis you are running things.  Godspeed Jeanine from all of us who know how valuable you have been to this County.

Even Randall’s friends can’t work with her, yikes!
