Chamber president graduates from Institute for Organizational Management

Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce president Tony Howard recently graduated from the Institute for Organization Management.

The professional development program for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation comprises 96 hours of course instruction in nonprofit management.

About 1,000 people attend the institute each year.

12 days of classroom gets this guy headlines, why? Did he pay for it and is this a overpriced scam on how to avoid taxes? What was the final tally for this course?
4 week long sessions which should be 160 hours, 96 hours here in reality that comes to 3 days a week for 4 weeks? I hope they didn’t pay for the for the other 8 days! Another thing where does the Chamber of Commerce get off calling themselves non-profit when they are going to charge Dianna Ross type ticket numbers for a debate between political foes. This isn’t Wolftrap but it appears that we have some wolves in sheep’s clothing living high on the hog. Maybe Flannery or Miller will look into the finances and expenditures of the Chamber of commerce? $50.00 if you are a member and $70.00 if you are a future member of the chamber, why ?
Is the rent for the night at NCC so much or is it that we are going to be soaked by the so-called non-profit headed by this part time student at full time costs?
