Day after pig rescue, local crews scoop up goose trapped on frozen pond

Crews from the Dulles South and Aldie fire departments rescued a goose stuck on top of a frozen pond Sunday night, according to reports.

According to a Facebook post from the Loudoun County Professional Firefights-IAFF Local 3756, “crews were alerted to an injured or sick goose stuck on top of a frozen pond. After trying several methods of retrieving the goose, Rescue 607 donned their ice rescue suits and went out and retrieved him.”

The goose rescue came one day after local fire and rescue crews saved a pet pig, Pebbles, from a house fire in Aldie.

Breaking such important news, LTM.  I know you all must go to sleep at night so proud you can bring these critical stories to Loudoun.

Meanwhile, you ignore special prosecutors assigned to investigate school board members, civil rights suits against virtually every public body in Loudoun, and budgets which are inflated by $15-20M.

You must be so proud!!!

Nice little training exercise for the team.  Good job, guys.
