A Middleburg man was arrested after he drunkenly attempted to bite a deputy in Chantilly Saturday night, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reports.

Brad W. Owens, 55, of Middleburg, was charged with drunk in public and assault on law enforcement after Loudoun County Sheriff's deputies responded a restaurant for a complaint of an intoxicated customer who was belligerent. The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday in the 25300 block of Eastern Marketplace Plaza in Chantilly.

As the subject was taken into custody, Owens attempted to bite a deputy and was not compliant with the deputies’ commands.

The Middleburg resident was released on an unsecured bond.

Sheriffs deputy Ronald Biteme is considering a name change.

He made quite an impression on the deputy?

I’m not done… he fought the law tooth and nail?

Was he also on PCP?

The first sign of the coming zombie apocalypse.  What a clown.

I read somewhere that a small human could swim through the arteries of a large whale.  Makes one wonder.

Take a bite out of crime? He has a biting sense of justice? His friends all say that he has a commanding smile? He cut his teeth on law enforcement? Okay I’m done…
