Three people were taken to local hospitals after an Oct. 22 crash involving four cars in Leesburg.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred in the 20300 block of Evergreen Mills Road, near Shreve Mill Road, at around 6:15 p.m. when a 2002 Dodge Neon traveling south crossed the center lane. The Neon hit a 2003 Ford F-750, causing the truck to roll. A 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was driving behind the Ford swerved to avoid the Dodge Neon, hitting a tree. The Neon was then struck by a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the Neon, Jeffrey Booze, 45, of Hague, Va., was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital with serious injuries. He is in stable condition. Additionally, he has been charged with reckless driving.
Two passengers in the Ford truck were taken to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
