Free parking is back for the holidays in downtown Leesburg

The Town of Leesburg will once again offer free parking at the Town Hall parking garage, the Church Street parking lot, and on-street parking meters in historic downtown from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day.

There will be a two-hour limit on parking in the Church Street parking lot and at on-street meters on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m but no time limit on parking on weekends, evenings and holidays at the Church Street parking lot and on-street meters, or on parking in the Town Hall parking garage at any time. Parking is free at the Town’s Liberty Street parking lot year-round.

Free parking in the Town Hall Parking Garage, at the Church Street lot and at the on-street parking meters began at 5 p.m. on Nov. 22 and will continue throughout the holiday season until 8 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2018.

The free holiday parking program is an annual event in support of the Historic Downtown Leesburg Association’s (HDLA) holiday shopping promotions.
