A Loudoun County grand jury on Sept. 9 indicted 38 individuals on crimes ranging from driving under a suspended license to first-degree murder.
All of the indictments were returned as true bill.
The grand jury will meet again Oct. 21.
Some of the noteworthy indictments from this month:
•Roseangela Spradling of Sterling
, who is charged with shooting her husband May 17.
•David Vaughan Samford, who faces five counts of possessing child pornography. Samford, of Ashburn, was charged March 22, 2012.
•Idrissa Alison-Koneth Jr., of Ashburn, who is charged with strangling to cause wounding or injury and two counts of assault and battery of a family member from a July 19 incident.
•Lascelles D. Bennett, of Leesburg, who is charged with manufacturing pornography from events in 2006 and 2008. Bennett has previously been charged with gun possession with schedule I and II drugs, assault and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
•Timothy Harrell, of Fredericksburg, who was charged June 23 with trespassing and assault of a law enforcement officer.
•Ricky Lansdown, address unknown, who on June 30 was charged with brandishing a firearm within 1,000 feet of public school property. In 2011, Lansdown was found guilty of petit larceny and driving under a suspended license.
•Lavonte Lee Masunda, of Leesburg, who was charged with assault and battery of a law enforcement officer, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, resisting lawful arrest and obstruction of justice stemming from an April 27 event.
•Harold Lee Taylor, of Sterling, was charged Feb. 23 with assault and battery of a law enforcement officer, attempt to disarm a law enforcement officer, resisting lawful arrest and drunk in public.
•Idris Muhammed Zikria-Showers, of Gainesville, faces two charges of street robbery with a gun from a June 28 incident. Zikria-Showers, along with three juveniles, robbed three individuals
before their vehicle was stopped by police officers. The four attempted to flea but were all eventually caught.
