Historic Round Hill church seeks funds for update

Kectoctin Baptist Church in Round Hill
Members of the Ketoctin Baptist Church in Round Hill are reaching out to the community to help update the historic church building, which dates to 1854.

The small congregation has contributed about $15,000 to update facilities and install indoor plumbing.
More is needed, and Pastor David Sweet appeals for help in any way.

The one-story brick building is noted for its field-stone foundation, brick structure and historic mural on the interior wall of the church.

Donors can learn more at the church's website, http://www.ketoctinchurch.com.
