The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation and Gatorade teamed up to host the second Gatorade Junior Training Camp at Redskins Park in Ashburn Sept. 25. Approximately 100 middle school students from Loudoun County participated in a morning of football fundamentals and skill development. The goal of the program, according to a Redskins spokeswoman, is to motivate, inspire and educate the next generation of youth football athletes. Redskins players Chris Thompson, Tress Way and Niles Paul led students through the drills, and Redskins assistant strength and conditioning nutritionist Jake Sankal spoke on the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle. Classic.  The kind of drink middle school kids should avoid like the plague – Gatorade is just sugar-water.
