Detectives from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are working to identify a suspect involved in one robbery and one attempted robbery at two separate pharmacies in Sterling today.

At 11 a.m. a male suspect entered the Rite Aid located in the 46000 block of Cedar Lake Plaza and handed the pharmacist a note that implied he had a gun. The note demanded prescription medication, but the suspect left empty-handed, according to the LCSO.

Shortly after 12 p.m., it is believed the same male suspect entered the CVS located in the 400 block of Enterprise Street. He again handed the pharmacist a note implying he had a gun and demanded prescription narcotic medications. The suspect was given prescription medication before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with black stripes, a red baseball hat with a “Make America Great Again” emblem, sunglasses, black pants and black shoes, according to reports.

Anyone with any information about these cases is asked to contact Detective M. Bush of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021.
