While I agree with Chocolate Dinosaur that speeding does cause many accidents on Rt 7, speeding was not a factor in this case. The tractor trailer was not speeding. Another vehicle pulled out it front of it. I did not get that info from any article. I was an eye witness to this terrible accident and I hope I never have to witness anything like this ever again.

It’s always sad reading news like this.  Somewhere out there is a child who will never see one of their parents alive again.  Somewhere out there is a dog or a cat who doesn’t understand why their beloved master never returns.  For what?  I know this area as well as many of you do and it’s a racetrack essentially.  How many deadly accidents need to happen here before measures are taken to reduce them?  It’s my understanding that the LCSO is spread too thin to really patrol this area so what else could possibly get people to drive a safe speed from Leesburg to Winchester?
