Leesburg man arrested for DUI, marijuana and eluding law enforcement

A Leesburg man was arrested and charged with DUI, eluding and other offenses following a Friday night police pursuit.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, a deputy observed the driver disregard a stop sign at the Claiborne Parkway and Russell Branch Parkway intersection in Ashburn around 11:20 p.m.

The deputy, according to reports, activated their emergency equipment, and the vehicle at first disregarded the attempts at a traffic stop.

The driver, Delmar C. Obaji, 34, of Leesburg, was arrested and charged with DUI, eluding, possession of marijuana and other traffic related offenses.

Obaji was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on an unsecured bond.

Someone_you_know, that’s the problem—his license has *already* been revoked.

So he’ll keep driving, again & again—placing everybody else at financial & personal risk.

2 speeding tix in Prince William; multiple violations in Loudoun, including no license, revoked license, no registration.

Same story in Fairfax, June 2017 (speeding, suspended, marijuana).

Can’t seem to learn his lesson.

If this is the same guy then maybe it might be time to revoke his license.

Obaji should live Colorado once he completes his time in jail.
