LAWS thanks Dulles Greenway’s Drive for Charity for 12 years of support

The Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS) is giving thanks for the money it received from the Dulles Greenway’s Drive for Charity over the past 12 years.

Nicole Acosta, executive director of LAWS, said, “We are extremely grateful for Dulles Greenway’s Drive for Charity. LAWS would not be able to serve all the men, women, and child victims that we do if it weren’t for the Dulles Greenway.”

Each person who drove on the Greenway on May 18 contributed to the charity's ability to serve domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse victims.

The annual donations from the Drive for Charity to LAWS have been used by the shelter to serve thousands of victims suffering from the trauma of personal violence.

LAWS was one of seven local causes to benefit from a portion of the $350,000 donated by Drive for Charity this year.
