    Loudoun community honors civil leaders at Times-Mirror-Chamber celebration

    The Loudoun Times-Mirror 2014 Citizens of the Year Awards were hosted by the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce last night at River Creek Club in Leesburg. Andy Johnston, Loudoun Cares, was named Citizen of the Year; Nicole Acosta, Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, was named Nonprofit Citizen of the Year; and Dr. Ed Hatrick, Loudoun County Public Schools, was named Educator of the Year.Times-Mirror Staff Photo/Rick Wasser
    More than 130 community leaders were in attendance for the Loudoun Times-Mirror and Loudoun Chamber of Commerce's Citizens of the Year ceremony at River Creek Club Wednesday night. Honored at the celebration were Andy Johnston, executive director for Loudoun Cares; Dr. Edgar Hatrick, retiring superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools; and Nicole Acosta, executive director of the Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter.
