Loudoun County has launched Loudoun Health Check, a public health needs assessment survey found at http://www.loudoun.gov/healthcheck
The aim of the survey, according to the county's public information office, is to identify the current health-related issues or concerns from county residents.
The assessment was most recently conducted in 2008 and provided information to help focus the community’s public health priorities, according to county officials.
“This brief, anonymous survey is critical to understanding the priorities and needs of our residents,” said Dr. David Goodfriend, director of the Loudoun County Health Department Director. “Our hope is that Loudoun residents will take a few moments to complete the survey and get their family members, friends and neighbors to do so as well. The more people who complete the survey, the better understanding we will have of the needs of all our residents, from South Riding to Lovettsville, from middle school students to retirees, and from people in perfect health to those with chronic illnesses.”
