Loudoun sheriff’s office investigating fatal crash in Sterling

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred shortly before 6 a.m. this morning in Sterling.

Deputies responded to the area of Pebble Run Place and Overland Drive where the driver of a Jeep Wrangler lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons. The vehicle rolled several times, and the driver lost his life at the scene. The name of the driver has not been released and is pending notification of next of kin.

A witness reported seeing the driver of the Jeep and the driver of another vehicle, possibly a two-door sedan, traveling at a high rate of speed in the area just prior to the crash, according to the LCSO. The vehicle was described as dark in color and possibly a Honda or a Toyota. The driver of the unknown vehicle left the area.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Investigator R. Beach of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit at 703-777-1021.

I’m sure many bossiness all along that route have CCTV.  I know D&V Autobody on Overland does.

They’re looking for a two-door sedan?

Going to be a tough investigation.
