Loudoun Station cuts ribbon opening the BLVD

After breaking ground in April 2011 and over six years of planning, the first phase of residential space has been completed at Loudoun Station.

Comstock Partners held a ribbon-cutting event Oct. 18 and officially opened the BLVD Luxury Apartments at Loudoun Station.

The first phase, the BLVD, includes 357 apartments and 62,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The first residents have already moved in.

Upon its final completion, Loudoun Station will be an integration of more than 3 million square feet of mixed-use development consisting of more than 1 million square feet of Class A office, 300,000 square feet of restaurants and shops, a hotel, and approximately 1,500 luxury residences.

Loudoun Station, which broke ground last year, is the first mixed-use transit oriented development in Loudoun County. Loudoun Station is located at the terminus of Metro’s Silver Line extension.

Chairman and CEO of Comstock Holding Companies Chris Clemente and Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott York (R-At Large) cut the ribbon officially opening the first phase of the town center in front of more than 100 community members.

York and Clemente were flanked by Supervisors Ken Reid (R-Leesburg) and Sean Williams (R-Broad Run), President and CEO of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce Tony Howard and Delegate Randy Minchew (R-10th).

The BLVD Luxury apartments feature studio, one bedroom and two bedroom living options. The upscale apartments are currently being leased.

The new residential space is highlighted by a game room, theater facilities, 24-hour gym services and much more.

In 2018, the much discussed and recently approved Silver Line Metro will be completed.

Also included in the mixed-use complex is the recently announced Starplex Cinemas 11 screen theater. The theater is expected to open in 2014 in the heart of Loudoun Station.


What happens to the residents of this new pricey development if the choo-choo deal falls through? The silver spoon line is not built yet, and might not be for a while, especially with MWAA under investigation by the FBI and the USDOT Inspector General. and how many more kids in the schools that the BOS doesn’t want to have to staff???

Yeah oranges.  All coming down Waxpool and turning left down LC Parkway.

The big flaw in planning in that area is that these idiots pass off the idea that people takes the Greenway instead of local roads.

The term “The Blvd” has long been in use in Loudoun already

357 apartment, 1500 new homes equals about 4000 new cars on the roads! yikes

Drove by there today….looks like there are already residents living there.  Nice place.
