McAuliffe announces Mexican trade agreement, jabs Trump

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is announcing a new agreement with a state in Mexico to explore trade agreements and taking a jab at President Donald Trump.

McAuliffe announced Tuesday that Virginia and the Mexican state of Baja California had signed a memorandum of understanding to foster trade. The announcement came as McAuliffe met with Mexican business leaders at an event in Washington.

The governor, a Democrat, said on Twitter that in Virginia "we build opportunities NOT walls!"

McAuliffe has been an outspoken critic of Trump, a Republican, and his promised wall on the Mexican border. McAuliffe said that it was irresponsible to isolate the state's third largest trading partner, and said "hateful" rhetoric has no place in Virginia.

This governor has no credibility or decency after what he said about guns in the immediate aftermath of the shootings by one of his fellow anti-Trumpers of Republicans in Alexandria the other day.

@racists - What does a trade agreement with Mexico have to do w Mafia, Gangs & Illegal Immigration?

If he had to live in a Community where Illegal Immigration and gangs were prevalent, like most suburbs in NOVA, he’s change his tone.

There are no specific trade opportunities in this “deal”.

They simply made an agreement to discuss opportunities at an unspecified time in the future.  So this is a whole lot of nothing, just an opportunity for the governor to virtue signal and take pop shots at the president.

This article lacks details.  Is it just a statement of willingness todo business or does it include any specific trade opportunities that it expects to occur as a result of the agreement?

McAuliffe is an open borders guy, so let’s just open the flood gate and invite all the Mexican Mafia, MS-13, 18th Street Gang and nearly hundred other gangs that are all striving to further establish themselves here in the USA. BTW - I guess when you have a wall of armed State Troopers surrounding you everyday, have hundreds of millions in the bank, and own one of your many McMansions in McLean, you can live in la la land while continue to mismanage the financial state of Virginia.
