The Loudoun Fire Marshal Investigators are seeking information regarding a pipe bomb explosion in Leesburg Tuesday night.
Around 9:48 p.m. yesterday, the Loudoun County Emergency Communications Center received several calls about an explosion in the Olympic Boulevard and Kings Mill Street in the River Creek community. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and the Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office reported to the site and discovered an exploded pipe bomb on the River Creek golf course.
The Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating the incident.
