Paramount Business Jets CEO Richard Zaher relocated his private jet consulting firm to Leesburg in June to better serve his clients.|
With its proximity to the federal government and Washington, D.C., Loudoun County is home to numerous corporate executives and their families.
Those executives need quick and private modes of transportation for business travel. Sometimes, they need to travel to all parts of the world at a moments notice.
Paramount Business Jets recently relocated its headquarters to Leesburg in an effort to be closer to clients and better serve its wide range of operators.
A worldwide private jet charter consulting firm, Paramount Business Jets offers clients private jet flights on a per charter basis as well as charter via a Jetcard membership program. They have the ability to set up flights in as little as four hours of notice worldwide with savings of 20 to 40 percent below current market rates.
The company sources aircraft for its members with direct information from operators, discounted wholesale pricing and service options with full disclosure.
After relocating to Leesburg in June, CEO and Founder Richard Zaher has been hard at work building relationships with jet operators in the D.C. metropolitan region, like Metropolitan Jets, which operates out of Manassas Regional Airport.
The company has access to 15,000 corporate jets and can fly from just about anywhere including Europe and all over the United States. It offers several different types of aircraft for its clients including turbo props, very light jets, light jets, mid-size, super mid-size, large, VIP airliners and jet airliners.
“We do a lot of north-south trips, New York to L.A., Washington-Dulles to London and trips to the islands,” Zaher said.
Paramount moved to Leesburg from Tampa Bay, Fla. In addition to being closer to its clients, Zaher grew up in Herndon, providing a sense of comfort with the new headquarters' location.
“This is the area that I grew up in and I have been away for about 20 years now, but one of the reasons we moved here is the area is growing so fast and we would hear about it even while we were in Florida. I think it was the right time to come back and we saw a lot of activity here in the Washington, D.C. area and we have been doing charters here regularly,” Zaher said. “Going in and out of Washington-Dulles and all of the executive airports in the area, we figured it would be better for business as well as me and Loudoun County.”
Additionally, with Loudoun County being the richest county in the nation, it's home to many target customers Zaher and his team are looking for.
Zaher's business plan keeps his clients best interests in mind and are based on conducting fair and ethical business practices.
He considers customer safety, security and pricing as some of the most important characteristics of doing business in the private aircraft industry.
Paramount has been successful due to its transparent pricing, which Zaher introduced in 2010.
“We introduced the transparent pricing to the industry. We show the clients what the market has to offer and we show our clients what our brokers' commission is because we want to take the salesperson aspect out of the equation. We want to build a trust with our clients,” Zaher said. “We have been able to save clients 20 to even 50 percent because we are looking for the highest quality jet for the lowest price.”
