A third suspect in the Purcellville home invasion case has been arrested.
Jordon L. Harwell, 29, of Sterling was arrested Oct. 21 at a home on Argus Place.
Harwell is charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery and is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
The arrest stems from the Oct. 14 armed robbery
of a Purcellville apartment. Several men entered an apartment on the 100 block of N. 21st Street in Purcellville at around 11:24 p.m. brandishing guns. The suspects assaulted one person in the apartment, then took cash and fled.
John C. Barwis, 23, of Ashburn was apprehended Oct. 15 and is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center for his role in the robbery. Police are still looking for another man, David C. Russell, 21, of Leesburg. Russell may be driving a white Dodge Charger and police say he often frequents Leesburg and Sterling.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Russell is asked to call Detective M. McCaffrey at 703-777-0475. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun County Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919.
