Sheriff’s office finds Xanax, LSD during traffic stop; Ashburn duo arrested

A Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deputy found Xanax and LSD during a search of a vehicle stopped for a moving violation at Highland Vista Drive and George Washington Boulevard in Ashburn May 11.

The driver, Pangyu Bewley, 22, of Ashburn, was charged with conspiracy to commit a drug felony. The passenger, Amanda N. Tran, 20, of Ashburn, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV narcotic and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.

Bewley was released on a $1,000 secured bond, and Tran was released on a personal recognizance bond.
