Sheriff’s office releases sketch of suspect in Sterling burglary, assault

Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have released a composite sketch of a burglary suspect who attempted to enter a Sterling residence on Friday and assaulted a juvenile female.

According to the LCSO, the victim reported around 9 p.m. she observed a male entering through the kitchen window of her residence in the 1300 block of E. Lee Road. The suspect opened the kitchen window and leaned in halfway through the window. The suspect moved further through the window and assaulted the female prior to leaving the area.

The suspect was described as a black male with a heavier build in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a white T-shirt with writing on the front on the night of the incident.

The victim reported she previously had seen the suspect in the Sterling area a few days prior to the incident.
