Sterling man arrested after Sunday-morning stabbing

A Sterling man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing an acquaintance early Sunday, according to Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reports.

LCSO deputies were called to the 21200 block of McFadden Square in Sterling around 2 a.m. Sunday where they found a victim to have injuries consistent with a stabbing.

The suspect, Issa Tarawally, 23, of Sterling, was located and charged with malicious wounding. Tarawally remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.

The victim, who was known to Tarawally, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
