Sterling man flees crash scene before being charged with drunken driving

A Sterling man, Govie D. Douglass, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a Friday afternoon collision, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Douglas, 58, is believed to have rear-ended a vehicle in the Route 7-Potomac View Road area of Sterling. Douglas then left the scene and was located in the area of Benedict Drive.

After being arrested, Douglas was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.


Not mentioned in the article is that this guy was DWI at 1:41 PM.  Yes in the afternoon he was slobberknockered and driving.
