Update: Sterling teenager located safe


Iris J. Rivera-Menjivar has been located safe, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a missing Sterling teenager.

Iris J. Rivera-Menjivar, 15, was reported missing on Oct. 3 and was last seen at her residence on Sept. 23. She spoke to a family member and law enforcement as recently as Oct. 3.

Iris is described as being 5 feet tall, 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with any information regarding her possible whereabouts is asked to contact DFC J. Carter at 571-465-0903.
