Two new principals appointed to Loudoun County schools

Deborah Lee was appointed to be the principal of both Aldie and Banneker elementary schools. Lee has been the principal of Banneker since 2008 and will now be splitting her time between the two schools. Lee received her master's degree in education from Shenandoah University and is a former teacher with 15 years of experience.

Shontel Simon was appointed to be the new principal of Forest Grove Elementary School in Sterling. Simon is a former teacher who received her master's degree in educational leadership at George Mason University and was previously the assistant principal at Sully Elementary for four years.
