Victim identified in fatal Lovettsville farm accident

The victim of Wednesday's fatal farm accident in Lovettsville has been identified as 67-year-old Charles Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Sterling sustained injuries at a farm in the 42200 block of Lovettsville Road while trying to stabilize an auger attachment to a trailer. He died after being transported to the Cornwall Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital with critical injuries, according to LCSO.

Members of Loudoun County Fire and Rescue responded to the residence around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday for a call of an adult male stuck to an attachment to a trailer.
