Woman assaulted in Sterling

An 18-year-old woman was assaulted Saturday night by an unknown man while walking near the intersection of Sterling Boulevard and West Beech Road.

The incident began when the drivers of two vehicles approached the woman about 10:15 p.m. and asked if she needed a ride.

The woman didn't respond and a short time later an unknown man approached her, running into her as he past. Loudoun deputies said the man then returned and inappropriately touched the woman as he continued to run back and forth.

The man was described as Hispanic, in his 20's or 30's, approximately 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with black hair.

The man was then seen getting into a car in the area of Briar Patch Park.
