An Ashburn woman has been charged with assault on a deputy after biting a police officer during a breathalyzer test.
At approximately 9:46 p.m. on Oct. 20, Nan Ciullo, 57, was pulled over by a Loudoun County Sheriff's deputy near the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Truro Parish Drive in Ashburn. Ciullo was charged with driving under the influence and was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. Once at the ADC, she refused to submit to a breath test and become belligerent, biting a deputy.
Ciullo faces charges of DUI, refusal to submit to a breath test and assault on a law enforcement officer.
