Jacqueline R. Stennett

Ms. Jacqueline R. Stennett passed away peacefully accompanied by family and under the loving care of those at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, Virginia, on November 24, 2017. For those who knew her a Service of Remembrance to honor her life, will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 E. Church Road, Sterling, Va. 20164. She was born January 29, 1936, in Greensboro, NC, the daughter of Maggie Elizabeth Royster.
Jacqueline served 28 years (1967-1994) as an administrative assistant and senior secretary for the CIA. She was a member of the Sterling United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a member of the Bell Choir and participating in their SAG programs. She also enjoyed being active with the Blue Ridge Rubies, Red Hat Society since 2011.
She is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-law: Karen Stennett, Jacksonville, N; Sharon and George Lawhorne, Goldvein, VA; Lauri and Thomas Donnelly, Sterling, VA; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She has left an amazing legacy by the example she set. We couldn’t have had a more amazing mother.
