80-year-old man brandishes firearm at Sterling trash collector

A trash collector reported an unknown white man in his 80’s brandishing a firearm at him while he was working in the 220 block of Environs Road in Sterling on June 29.

Federal authorities raid Landsdowne home

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office assisted federal officers in the raid. The Sheriff's Office posted a notification about the raid on their website and social media this morning. The notification said there is "no threat to the community" and the "scene will be cleared shortly."
