Loudoun hops facility gets incentives grant for expansion

As part of an effort to boost the hops and rural industries in Loudoun, county supervisors matched a $40,000 grant for Black Hops Farm, LLC’s expansion as the first "commercial-scale" hops processing facility in the state.

The Lucketts Ruritan Club awarded four scholarships to those who excelled in the areas of academic performance, leadership an community involvement. The funding for the scholarships came entirely from fund raising.
