A 19-year-old Centreville man is accused of breaking into a house where children were sleeping early Wednesday and inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl.

Felipe Velasco Santiago, 19, of the 14400 block of Golden Oak Road in Centreville, was arrested after a manhunt that included bloodhounds, police said in a news release.

Police were called around 3:30 a.m. on May 27. They say three children, 14, 8 and 6 years old, were home alone near Rustling Leaves Lane and Golden Oak Road sleeping when a man came in through a window.

""The suspect reportedly touched the 6-year-old girl inappropriately before fleeing back out the window,"" the news release said.

The children's mother returned home, learned what happened and called police. The victim was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital to be examined.

A manhunt ensued and police arrested Santiago around 10 a.m. He is charged with burglary with intent to defile and abduction with the intent to defile, police said.
