© Leesburg Today - 11/03/2015

Chick-fil-A will open its first western Loudoun location next week at the Purcellville Gateway shopping center.

A two-day grand opening celebration is planned. Starting on Nov. 11, the first 100 adults with IDs to be counted in line outside the restaurant as of 6 a.m. will be eligible to receive a digital card loaded with a one-year free supply of Chick-fil-A meals. If more than 100 people are on site at 6 a.m. the spots will be filled by a drawing held that morning, with the selected 100 required to camp out for 24 hours to secure their spot before the 6 a.m. Nov. 12 opening.

Residents also are asked to bring new children's books to benefit the Tree of Life Center.

The new restaurant seats 132 inside, with additional outside patio seating, and has dual drive-through lanes. The restaurant also is equipped with free WiFi, and has an indoor play area for toddlers.

Chick-fil-A is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Manager Scott Payne, a Marine Corps veteran, will be on hand Nov. 12 to greet customers. The town government and local law enforcement agencies are partnering to minimize congestion for the first three days following the opening.

The Rt. 287 entrance to the shopping center will be closed Nov. 12-14, 6 a.m.-10 p.m., with patrons asked to enter from the Main Street entrance. The exit to Rt. 287 will remain open during that period. For information, go to cfarestaurant.com/purcellville.
