Heritage High School’s Fundraiser Brings In $1K

© Leesburg Today - 09/22/2015

Test-driven Fords turned into donated cash for Heritage High School last weekend.

Jerry's Ford in Leesburg invited people to take a new Ford vehicle out for a spin, and gave the high school in Leesburg $20 for each test drive.

By the end of the four-hour event Sept. 12, 49 drivers had raised nearly $1,000 for the high school.

""Every year, more and more arts, music and sports programs are cut due to budgetary constraints. This fundraising event is a unique way to fill some of those financial gaps,"" a press release from Jerry's Ford stated.

Ford dealerships and local communities across the U.S. have helped raised more than $25 million dollars for high schools through the Drive 4 UR School program. Learn more at drive4urschool.com.
