A Woodbridge woman is charged with murder after her boyfriend was found stabbed to death in their home early Saturday.

Rasheeda Shareen Wright, 39, of the 14800 block of Statler Drive in the Cardinal Station neighborhood was arrested in Stafford County shortly after the body of Andre Warren was discovered about 12:55 a.m., said Prince William police Sgt. Jonathan Perok.

A relative of the 39-year-old victim returned home and found him suffering stab wounds to the upper body. Warren was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives quickly determined the stabbing was domestic and began searching for Wright, Perok said. Around the same time, Wright was detained in Stafford on unrelated charges. She was suffering self-inflicted wounds and taken to the hospital for treatment, where she was connected to the slaying on Statler Drive, Perok said.

Police said Wright and Warren were involved in an argument Friday that led to the fatal stabbing.

Wright is held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas regional jail.

The case is Prince William County's fourth murder of 2015.
