Detectives are investigating a Saturday morning robbery at the United Bank at 11820 Spectrum Center in Reston.

The robbery walked into the bank about 10:30 a.m., produced a handgun and demanded money from several tellers, Fairfax County police said in a news release.

Employees handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the robber fled on foot.

He was described as black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin to medium build, thin eyebrows and a ""lazy eye,"" police said.

He also had something covering his mouth and part of his head. He was wearing a green or gray hooded jacket, a dark shirt underneath and dark pants.
