Robbers strike two 7-Elevens in Dale City

Police are searching for two men who robbed two 7-Eleven stores in Dale City last week.

The first robbery happened at 1:38 a.m. on Aug. 18 at the convenience store at 14820 Cloverdale Road. Two men entered the store, approached the counter, displayed firearms and demanded money. The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both suspects were white males, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

One robber wore a black beanie cap, black T-shirt, gray pants, gray shoes, black gloves and a white cloth covering his face.

The second wore a white face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white shoes.

The second robbery happened Friday at 1:11 a.m. at the Hillendale 7-Eleven at the corner of Hillendale Drive and Prince William Parkway.

Two men entered the store and approached the counter, one displaying a firearm and the other knife. They demanded and were given cash and fled on foot, Perok said.

The robbers were both males of unknown race. The first wore black clothing, New Balance tennis shoes and a white cloth covering his face, Perok said. The second wore black clothing and a brown cloth over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700. Callers don't have to give their names, just the information. Tips leading to arrest could earn a $1,000 cash reward.
