Seven teenagers have been charged with orchestrating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Dale City on Tuesday.

It was the first of two robberies of pizza deliveryman within two hours in Prince William County.

In the Dale City case, police charged an 18-year-old, three 16-year-olds, a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old, all males, in connection with the heist after being called to investigate a robbery around 10:35 p.m.

The 25-year-old victim told police he arrived in the 4800 block of Kempair Court to deliver a pizza and was confronted by a group of young men as he approached the home, which police later found to be vacant.

One of the men threatened the driver with a handgun and robbed him of money and pizza, said Prince William County police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

A police K-9 led officers to a nearby home, where several suspects were found.

Police said seven teens in all planned the robbery, and three carried it out.

One of the suspects, 18-year-old John Harper, allegedly tried to flee from officers outside the Garfield police station in Woodbridge after his arrest, Perok said. He was quickly apprehended.

Harper was charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm in a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and escape without force, Perok said. He was held without bond.

Police charged two other teens, a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony, Perok said.

Two 16-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were all charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, Perok said.

In Manassas, police are searching for one of two men who robbed and carjacked another pizza delivery driver early Wednesday in the 10400 block of Saint Croix Lane.

The 29-year-old victim told police he was flagged down by a man as he was delivering pizza on the street around 12:35 a.m.

The man told the driver he had ordered the pizza and was waiting for a friend to bring money, Perok said.

""During the encounter, a second male suspect approached the victim. This suspect displayed a weapon and ordered the victim to the ground,"" Perok said.

The two robbers then took the victim's pizza, pizza, cell phone and car keys. One suspect got in the victim's car and drove away; the other fled on foot.

An officer responding to the scene found the victim's car in a nearby parking lot. When the officer approached the vehicle, the accused jumped out of the driver's seat and fled on foot. A police K-9 and helicopter were used to search the area for the suspect.

Police eventually found the suspect, a 16-year-old Manassas boy, and he was charged with robbery, carjacking, use of a firearm in a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and possession of stolen property, Perok said.

Police are still searching for the second suspect, who was black, between the ages of 15 and 19, about 6 feet 1 inch tall with thin build. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with cut-off sleeves, gray basketball style shorts and a ski mask.
