A 39-year-old Woodbridge man died Sunday from injuries he suffered in a single-vehicle crash on Aug. 21.

Adam Dwight Calhoun was traveling north in the 1600 block of Horner Road about 7:50 a.m. when he lost control of his 2003 Volkswagen Jetta, ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok. Calhoun died of his injuries on Aug. 23.

Perok said speed was a factor in the wreck, and that Calhoun was not wearing a seatbelt.

Calhoun leaves behind his wife and 10-year-old son, according to a GoFundMe page set up for his family.
