The Washington Capitals recently refurbished three street hockey rinks in Loudoun.

Using funding from the National Hockey League's Industry Growth Fund, the Capitals renovated rinks at Douglass Community Center in Leesburg, Trailside Park in Ashburn and Franklin Park in Purcellville.

Fairgrounds Park in Hagerstown, Md. was also refurbished.

The Capitals used Sportcourt flooring to make each rink safer and usable year-round, along with replacing or repairing boards, benches, scoreboards and fencing.
