George Mason University junior midfielder Emily Littell was selected on the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-America Division I Women's Soccer Team.

Littell, a Loudoun County High School alum, is the first George Mason women's soccer player in program history to earn the honor.

A bioengineering major with a 3.99 grade point average, Littell has started all 61 games that she has played for the Patriots.

She has recorded six goals and 16 assists for 28 points during her collegiate career. Littell led GMU in assists (seven) and points (15) in 2017, tying for third-most assists in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Littell served as a team captain for three varsity seasons at Loudoun County, helping the Raiders win district, regional and state tournament titles in 2015.
