Foxcroft School will host its ninth annual Think Pink Basketball Tournament on Jan. 13 in Middleburg. The event, to benefit the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation, will include 12 teams playing at either the varsity, junior varsity or middle school level.

Four teams are registered in each division: Varsity (Foxcroft, Madeira School, Randolph-Macon Academy and the Front Royal Flames, comprised of home-schooled students); JV (Foxcroft, Madeira, Mercersburg Academy (Pa.) and John Paul the Great); Middle School (Hill School, Loudoun Country Day School, Quantico and Randolph-Macon).

Games begin at 9 a.m. on three courts, with the last round of games scheduled to begin around 2 p.m.

All games are open to the public at no charge. Proceeds from t-shirt sales, food concessions and free-will donations collected during the tournament will benefit the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation.

Sponsorships by local families and businesses, along with most of the tournament entry fees, also go to CBBCF, dedicated to helping women and families in Loudoun and Fauquier counties affected by breast cancer.

Food concession items will be available throughout the day.

For more information about the tournament, contact Michelle Woodruff at 540-687-4553 or Cathrine Wolf at 540-687-4511, or visit http://www.foxcroft.org.
