Jessop continues to shine for Shepherd football

Shepherd University senior quarterback Connor Jessop is the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week after piloting the Rams to a 51-14 victory against West Liberty.

The Broad Run High School alum completed 23 of 30 passing attempts for 313 yards and four touchdowns.

Also the MEC Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season, Jessop has passed for 1,756 yards and 20 touchdowns in five games for the unbeaten Rams, who are ranked second nationally in NCAA Division II.

Jessop won a state championship at Broad Run and started his college career at Virginia Tech before transferring to Shepherd.
