Ashburn youth Hannah Jonely won the Prep Division title at the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls' Golf Tour's 2017 Tournament of Champions, contested Dec. 2-3 at Pinehurst Course No. 8 in North Carolina.

A sophomore at Broad Run High School, Jonely produced rounds of 77 and 80 for a total of 13-over par 157.

Jonely finished two strokes ahead of runner-up Grace Holcomb of Wilimington, N.C. in the 29-player field.

"It was a lot about keeping my tempo and rhythm with my swing," Jonely said of what guided her to victory.

"If I felt it was getting out of whack, I would just take a couple deep breaths and get it back together," Jonely continued. "And then my putting was solid which really helped."

Rachel Kuehn (Asheville, N.C.) won the Bell Division crown with a 36-hole total of 1-over par 145.

Jonely will play for Team Middle Atlantic in the inaugural Linville Cup in January.

During her sophomore varsity season, Jonely helped Broad Run win its first Potomac District title.
