Loudoun Valley produced an impressive 75-43 victory Saturday evening at the Salem Civic Center to advance to the state championship game. Leading 24-20 at the half, the Vikings outscored the Eagles 51-23 in the second half.

Loudoun Valley (29-1) will play Jamestown in the state title game Friday night at the Siegel Center, on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.

Senior Duron Norris and junior Jalen Williams each scored eight points, while junior Dominic Peterson (seven), senior Jamir DeGree (five) and freshman Trent Dawson (two) rounded out the Viking scoring.

The key stretch of the game surfaced in the third quarter. After George Washington pulled within two on the first possession of the quarter, Loudoun Valley went on a 20-7 run during a six-minute stretch to extend its lead to 44-29.

The Vikings connected on 26 of 31 free throws in the win, highlighted by converting 18 of 21 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
