Kong’s team places first at National Taekwondo Championships

The Kong's Taekwondo Demonstration Team from Majest Martial Arts in Stone Ridge placed first at the 2017 National Taekwondo Championships.

The event - contested June 29 through July 6 at the Cobo Center in Michigan - featured more than 3,500 athletes.

The Kong's team, which includes students from Arcola Elementary School, Mercer Middle School and John Champe High School, won a bronze medal at the 2016 National Taekwondo Championship in Richmond.
