The Loudoun Valley Vikings won their first state championship in boys' basketball March 10 in Richmond.

Loudoun Valley connected on 31 of 44 field goal attempts and 12 of 13 shots from the foul line to defeat Jamestown 80-48 in the Virginia High School League Group 4A state final.

The Vikings (30-1) won Conference 21-East and Region 4A West championships leading up to the state tournament.
